Introduction about Accreditation and Registration, Application & Implementation Requirements
This section introduces the benefits, requirements, and comparative study of different accreditation systems. Topics include quality concepts, pre-accreditation requirements, registration, application processes, scoring systems, standards interpretation, survey techniques, and self-assessment with gap analysis and action plan formation. The course objective is to provide healthcare professionals with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to understand and initiate the accreditation process.
The Survey Tools and Challenging Standards Implementations in Different Chapters
Participants will explore the tools and strategies for implementing challenging standards across various chapters. Topics include individual and system tracers, patient-centered standards challenges and solutions, critical care areas requirements, organizational-centered standards (leadership and information management), and quality and patient safety challenges and solutions. The course objective is to equip participants with practical tools and methods to address and overcome challenges in meeting accreditation standards.
Challenges and Implementations of Organization-Related Chapters: Survey Process Workshop, Survey Agenda, and Closing Report
This section covers the challenges and solutions related to organization-specific chapters in the accreditation process. Topics include infection prevention and control, facility management and safety, medication management and use, surveyor skills, and hospital readiness. The course objective is to prepare healthcare professionals to handle organization-related accreditation challenges, conduct effective surveys, and develop comprehensive survey agendas and closing reports.

Bachelor Degree in healthcare-related science with 2 years’ experience OR
Post High School Degree in healthcare-related science with 4 years’ experience

Facility Tour and Survey Practicum
This optional module offers hands-on experience through a facility tour and survey practicum. It includes document review workshops, interview and committee rehearsal practices, and facility tours and observations. The course objective is to provide participants with practical experience in conducting surveys and implementing accreditation standards in a real-world setting.
